Ignacio Pérez Lorenz, fabulous journalist and fantastic wine expert, interviewed José Manuel Pérez, oenologist and technical director of Pérez Pascusa Winery and Benjamín Pérez Pascuas, famous, dear, and respected world-wide viticultor. Father and son, both of them are two of the pillars of Pérez Pascuas winery together with his their brothers and cousins, they run the winery which is located in Pedrosa de Duero, this is the place where they make their famous and prestigious Viña Pedrosa wines. Viticultor and oenologist share the same opinion:" Excellente harvest for 2007." According to José Manuel Pérez ´s comments, this slow ripening process together with cold temperatures at night during the summer will give us as a result well-balanced wines with moderate alcoholic degree, excellente acidity level; in summary, top quality wines with a really long life ahead which will give the wine-lovers a huge satifaction. Benjamín Pérez Pascuas, from his "own pitch" showing the bunches of grapes to TVE cameras stated: "Here there is no trick or cardboard the eye does not make a mistake, I believe it will be a brilliant harvest." Both Benjamín and José Manuel are optimistic, and according to Ignacio Pérez Lorenz ´s comments international wine critic will pay homage to the Spanish wine. Pérez Pascuas family deeply thanks RTVE channel for trusting them to forecast 2007 harvest. This informative report was broadcasted last Friday 31st of August on TV 1 news at noon. This fact guarantees the professionalism and prestige which describes familiar and pioneer winery in Ribera del Duero.
