MICHAEL LAUDRUP PICKS GRAPES WITH PÉREZ PASCUAS BROTHERS.
MICHAEL LAUDRUP AND HIS FAMILY SPEND ONE DAY AT VIÑA PEDROSA WINERY.

Michael Laudrup was considered as one of the best football players worldwide, great talent and brilliant quality on the pitch. He played many years for F.C. Barcelona and finished his professional career playing for Real Madrid. He was also the captain of his national team and at this moment Getafe s coach.

A part from his brilliant professional career as a football player, Michael Laudrup is a wine-expert and premium wines lover.
15 years have gone since Bodegas Hnos. Pérez Pascuas and Michael Laudrup started to work together. Laudrup Vin and Gastronomi is the company founded in 1990 by Per Buhl and Michael Laudrup, which is in charged of Viña Pedrosa and Pérez Pascuas Gran Selección distribution in Denmark.
Laudrup Vin and Gastronomi does an excellent commercial job on one of the most demanding markets in Europe. Danish critics has praised many times wines made by this pioneer winery in Ribera del Duero.

Amongst vines and scissors in hand, Michael Laudrup and his family picked grapes, tasted first grape juice from 2007 vintage...In short, they were "model pupils" showing a huge interest in winemaking.

There were many funny moments throughout the day spent at the winery and Michael Laudrup stated: " I am completely fascinated by the work done by Pérez Pascuas brothers, an authentic passion which can be appreciated on the wines made by this familiar winery, both viticulture and vinifation tasks are extremely care by the brothers and they follow and artisanal method."

To Laudrup family this visit to Bodegas Hnos. Pérez Pascuas has an incalculable didactic. They commented they felt as they were at home and next year they promised to come back to practice all what they had learnt along the visit.

They concluded this special harvest day having dinner at the winery. Jokes and hugs, a well-memorized wine lesson and completely sure about the excellent potential of 2007 vintage for Viña Pedrosa and Pérez Pascuas Gran Selección wines, Laudrup and his family said goodbye to Pérez Pascuas brothers.
