| UNDER THE LABEL "VIÑA PEDROSA FINCA LA NAVILLA" BODEGAS PÉREZ PASCUAS PUTS ONTO TO THE MARKET A "HEIGHT WINE". | |
It is the result of many years of technical work on the land as well as in the winery. We have seen the very special characteristics of the terroir, and on which we have put all our experience and know-how. We are sure that it will be a very good complement to the rest of the wines the winery produces, and that the market will value it very positively. We are convinced of the success of the wine, which will be released on the market the 1st. of March 2008. Due to the limited availability of the 14.365 bottles of this 2004 vintage, we can not guarantee availability the whole year. The wine is coming from a plot called “La Navilla”, situated in the same estate where the winery is located, and facing a very optimum south-west position. It is an exceptional terroir, where the authentic clone of Tinto Fino grafted from the old vineyards of the Pérez Pascuas brothers, reaches its maximum extent and singularity. A privileged altitude of 844 m. over sea level, leads to a very special microclimate. The big differences between the day and night temperatures are fundamental to obtain fresh and well balanced wines. The harvest was done by hand the 4th of October of 2004, following a vinification process with knowledge to keep all the exceptional qualities of the grapes of this excellent vintage. This Viña Pedrosa – La Navilla 2004 possesses the originality of a very special and sublime wine. |
