With a great success has finished Jose Manuel Pérez Ovejas and Juan de la Vega stay’s in Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic.

Thanks to Ballester Hermanos in Puerto Rico and Alvarez y Sanchez in República Dominicana, both members of the winery have been treated very well and received all the attentions to carry out a very busy schedule of wine activities.

This professional visit has consisted of wine tastings and presentations with journalist, sommeliers and wine shops.
Wines from Bodegas Hnos. Pérez Pascuas are present on these markets since more than 15 years with an optimum ranking position. “This trips are a very important support for our distributors. This is a way to make our importers feel closer to us. Contrary to many people can think, in Puerto Rico and República Dominicana there is an important wine culture. Wines with a strong backbone and personality are very well-considered. Ribera del Duero wines have got international recognition, and first wineries like us to export wines to this markets, have been great Ribera del Duero wines ambassadors. We feel satisfied of having contributed to Ribera del Duero international prestige. “Pérez Pascuas was a Ribera del Duero Regualatory Council founding winery, and from the very beginning this pioneer winery has showed a clear exporting vocation” José Manuel Pérez and Juan de la Vega state.

“It is important to point out that wine consumption at home is growing up therefore we should take a really good care of these customers who have trusted our winery” José Manuel Pérez stresses.

On the other hand, Pérez Pascuas Brothers Winery is very popular amongst people from República Dominicana and Puerto Rico, and many of them when they travel to Spain come to the winery for a wine tour just to know how Pérez Pascuas Brothers make their wines. “We are very pleased to receive all of those people who want to know what is behind every single bottle of Cepa Gavilán, Viña Pedrosa and Pérez Pascuas wine” They say.

A wine-pairing dinner at the prestigious restaurant called “Sitio” in Santo Domingo, puts the end to an unrepeatable trip with the express wish to be back next year.
