An award in recognition to a family which has devoted her life to wine.

The prestigious annual wine book “Vivir el vino, 365 Vinos al Año” in 2009 edition has chosen Bodegas Hnos. Pérez Pascuas as best winery of the year.
A new award in recognition to the big effort made by Pérez Pascuas Brothers to excel temselves year after year.

“The superb professional career of this familiar winery and the huge prestige of its wines have been some of the reasons to be awarded. It is a fair and right decision” said Vivir el Vino magazine general manager.

The prize-giving ceremony took place last January 19th at Espacio del Alcázar in Madrid and to the Spanish capital travelled the three brothers, Benjamín, Manuel and Adolfo, together with José Manuel Pérez Ovejas, Benjamin’s son and oenologist of Bodegas Hnos. Pérez Pascuas.
On this occasion was the oldest of the saga and vine-growing general manager, the one who collected the award,Benjamín, “ On behalf of Pérez Pascuas Brothers I would like to thank you all for trusting our wines Cepa Gavilán, Viña Pedrosa, La Navilla and Pérez Pascuas Gran Selección. It is an honor and a privilege for me to collect this prize because it recognizes the quality, purity, elegance and distinction on our work” stressed Benjamín.

Manuel and Adolfo Pérez Pascuas clearly conveyed their commitment to continue working even with more illusion and happiness. “In 2009 we will carry out a project on vine-growing researching about different clones, types of prunings and vines train” stated the brothers.
Jose Manuel Pérez Ovejas recently appointed “Creator Genius of Castilla y Leon” wanted to explain to the whole audience the big innovative and researching effort carried out by Pérez Pascuas to make delicious wines able to captivate most demanding palates, emphasizing their constant change adaptation and winery dynamism.

This prestigious award valued worldwide shows the important contribution made by this pioneer winery to the whole appellation Ribera del Duero reaffirming its brilliant professional career and its high quality standards.
This important dinstiction is a very special one on a large collected-prizes list inside and outside our borders.

2009 has started well to Bodegas Hnos. Pérez Pascuas where the three brothers with their huge human quality have achieved that Pérez Pascuas surname is one of the most beloved surnames on the wine world.
