VIÑA PEDROSA, A BLESSED WINE.
The Abbot and Monks from Santo Domingo de Silos visits Bodegas Hnos Pérez Pascuas in Pedrosa de Duero.
From different hometowns, social backgrounds and ages, the monks and the abbot are a real family which prays and work in union, bringing in their hearts, human distresses, wishes and hopes. Last July 14th, Pérez Pascuas Brothers were very lucky to receive their visit at Viña Pedrosa facilities where the abbot and the monks knew at place vineyard work, winemaking process and barrel aging of Pérez Pascuas wines, also they enjoyed so much wine tasting where different wines where tasted: Cepa Gavilán, La Navilla, Viña Pedrosa and Pérez Pascuas Gran Selección.

The Gregoriano singing inundated Pérez Pascuas barrels room and staff ‘s heart, on a cordial day where winemakers and monks could exchange impressions about wine and religion, a historical relationship on Christian History.

The monks gave an authentic life lesson applicable to business world and especially at this time of economic and social crisis when it is very important to have faith in God to overcome daily troubles.

The abbot and monks blessed Viña Pedrosa wines and highlighted the importance of family union and ethical code as main factors to explain the success of this pioneer winery in Ribera del Duero. “Viña Pedrosa premium quality is symbol of the Pérez Pascuas human quality” said the abbot.

As a “gold brooch” and thanks to Juana González management, the abbot and monks of Santo Domingo de Silos went to the church of Pedrosa and shared their Gregoriano singing with Pedrosa de Duero habitants.
Everybody enjoyed the performance so much and praised their divine voice.
